Seems like great data from today's 6.5 Creedmoor Ladder Test.

    Tikka T3x TAC A1
    Berger 140gr Hybrid Target bullets
    Hornady once-fired brass
    Winchester StaBall 6.5 powder

My question is ... "What do I do next?" ... based upon this data. Seems like I should load 5-rounds at 42.6, 42.8, and 43.0 ... and see which gives me the smallest ES and SD.

Am I thinking about this correctly?

Did you hit pressure? Because that seems very slow. I'm also suspicious of a "flat spot" that's over a grain wide.

ETA: If you intend to run it that slow, I'd work the 43 to 43,4 range.

Your velocities don’t add up. If those are each 1 shot I would rerun the entire series with 3 shot groups to get an average velocity that’s more accurate.

No ... no signs of pressure.
Yes ... one shot at each charge weight.
Also tested ladders with different bullet (Hornady 147gr ELD-M) and less neck tension (.291) and the groups for those showed less consistency ... more of an upward jagged line vs. displaying a flat spot.

I'm kinda with the guy that says "Accuracy is better than Velocity" ... so I think next I'll go with my gut and load up 5-round groups and shoot the "flat spot" ... and see what happens.

I'll also load up a ladder test that targets the high end of this and search for early pressure signs ... and see if I can get a flat spot on the high end.

My TAC factory barrel is also quite slow. Maybe 30fps faster than yours.
    I would check 42.6-43 with 5 rounds
