Anybody know any good seafood joints in the area?

Nope, but there is a nice state run range. Number three son lives close by, so I can get the smell of cordite when we visit. Nothing for rifles, but a chance to expend a bit of handgun and rimfire ammo. ROs tend the line and keep the idiots in check, but never noticed any acting like a range nazi.

It would be worth the 45 minutes to drive closer to the bay and hit something on the east shore.

Circles, Apollo Beach.

Shrimp Boat, Brandon.

Fish House, Ruskin. (Little side of the road shack)

Sunset Grill, Ruskin.

River House, Palmetto/Bradenton.

Woody's River Roo, Ellenton. (Mostly fried stuff)

Stay away from Red Lobster and Bonefish Grill. The food is high priced and mediocre.
It'll make a turd, but so will a PBJ.
