There is a Land Bill before Congress that looks likely to pass. One interesting provision is that shooting on Federal lands is assured in the bill. Additional shooter rights are addressed-see the net for additional details. This is an important issue to me as I mostly shoot on Forest Service property. There is an unofficial official local range here. It has been used for years but some rich folks have purchased property near by and want it shut down. The Forest Service has always been on our side and this bill should help preserve our range.
