Is it ok to lap Badger rings? Just got a set and have everything to do it if needed.

I would not. Unless your are very good at it, leave them alone. There should not be a need to lap them. And you can screw them up if your like me.
If it is "needed", then you either have a jacked up base causing the misalignment, or you need to call Badger for a replacement set. They have matching serial numbers for a reason - they're already a matched set and require no lapping.
If they're aluminum, you're likely to ruin your lapping rod before you make any headway on them anyhow. Them things are hard...

OK thanks all, I am bedding my Badger 20moa base right now so I will skip lapping.
never had never needed too.
Well I got it all mounted, for shits and giggles when I put the rings on the base I put my 30mm alignment bars in them to see how close they were and to my surprise it was bang on! I guess it pays to shell out the big bucks on quality mounts to begin with!
