Lapau Scenar .308 bullets

Have a couple of questions about these bullets.155gr .308 .508bc.
#1-Is the bc really that high?

#2- Has any one used them for hunting if so how was the perfomance?

#3-I have Varget on hand can any give me some good loads for the .308 win?

#1 - No. Not IMHO.

#2 - Doesnt' do well as a hunting round, though others will say it does.

#3 - Tons of info in the reloading section, but I have two that both like around 46 gr. (one a little lower, one a little higher) in a Lapua case with BR-2 primers. Start lower and work up in your rifle.

Love the 185's.Plus 4064 in that loading. Damfin boolets. JMHO

I found the BC to be around .495

The jacket is too thick and hard for a hunting round, take a look at the Amax line from Hornadee, 155 and 178

155 Scenars really shine at 2950, work up slowly to it.

1) Seems close

2) Very poor performance on coyotes-acted like a FMJ.
The 155 Amax is perfect!

3) SILVER Scenars with Varget, Lapua brass, CCIBR2.
I can safely use 47.5-47.8 in MY rifle. Heavily compressed over max load-use caution!

3) Long range load:
Case: Winchester
Primer: CCI
Powder Varget: 47.8 (very stiff--start low (45.5), work up slowly)
Bullet 155 Scenar
OAL 2.948 or 0.015 from the lands (make sure of your chamber)
