Lapua 260 Brass Question?

Ok...I just got a great deal on Lapua brass here on the hide. I am hearing though that i may have to turn the necks down if I have a match grade reamer.

Does anyone know if in fact I will?

My reamer is a match grade reamer with specs of .297

I never used Lapua brass before so don't have a case to measure.

You should be good if your at .297. My chamber was at .295 and the Lapua comes out to be .294

Size a piece of Lapua brass, seat a bullet and measure neck diameter of this dummy round. I like to see a minimum of 0.003" smaller diameter for the diameter of the loaded round then chamber diameter.

If your loaded round neck diameter is larger then 0.294", I'd say you need to run different brass or do a light neck turn on the Lapua brass.

I've not gotten any Lapua 260 brass yet so I do not have any loaded neck diameter measurements to report at this time.

ok...I guess I will just have to wait until the brass arrives and load the dummy round and measure.
