Has any one used any Lapua lockbase bullets for long range accuracy work? I will be using them in a .308 , but any intel is appreciated. How do they handle wind , and what velocity and caliber were you using?

My brother used them in his .308 for F-Class TR work, they wree great, but were such a pain in the ass it find he moved on to a different pill that he could get in bulk. Now abandoned the .308 all together, and shoots .284 winchester.

Lapua uses 170gr LockBase in one of their factory load.

Cartridge name is HPS, High Precision Sniper. AI uses it among many other Armys and LE organizations around globe.
You should be good to go.
    I have used/tried both .308 150gr and 170gr LB:s. Currently using .338 250gr LockBase in TRG.
But all rifles are individuals, cant say how they will shoot in yours.

D46/D47 arent same, but close. They are LB predecessors and still in production after 80years or so.
