Is there any difference between the scenar standard jacket and the silver jacket? There's a huge price difference though.

The silver scenars are moly coated...other than that there is no difference.

I've got them, as well as my Lyman Moly kit and other moly bullets.

Generally, you'll get less velocity with moly coated bullets, so adding a grain to your 'naked' load, will get you back to that target velocity.

I'm on the fence vis-a-vis moly, but if I have them, I'll shoot them.

I've also done a nice 30 cal moly test vs. nakeds and in some loads, I actually got more velocity with molys, so who knows?

Personally, unless I got a deal on moly coated bullets, I wouldn't pay the premium.
