Does anyone know how good the LaRue AR-10 / .308 system is? Will the upper fit an Armalite AR-10? Will they even sell just the upper? It looks like a nice system, I think if I were looking for a complete rifle it would be my pick.

1.) I think a few people on this board have fired one. But its LaRue, so I'd assume it will be first rate.
2.) I think its made to match the lower they made for it and I think it uses DPMS/M110 mags so thats probably a no on the Armalite.
3.) I very much doubt they will sell it upper only.

Mark LaRue makes some real nice products. Having said that, other than cosmetics, you'd have to show me how it was actually better than an Armalite. LaRue has a cult like following that IMO isn't always justified.
