Rifle Scopes LaRue LT845 mount

LaRue LT845 mount.......thoughts?

I am mounting a Trijicon RC30 4.5-30x56 on my R700 R5 in 308. This is the new scope coming out from Trijicon this summer. I am looking at this mount with the thought of adding a laser range finder at a later date.

I am not looking to add all the "Star Wars" shit on my rifle as I have never been a fan of all that junk and weight on a gun.

At 1.5" thats going to be pretty tall. I hope you have an adjustable cheek piece.

That mount will be pretty tall for a stock Remington 700 5R set up, personally I'd get Nightforce 1.0" UltraLite rings with their Ruggedized Accessory Platform. It keeps the scope lower and still provides a mount for a laser rangefinder down the road.
