Picked up 1000 cases of LC 11 machine gun brass, processed and primed.

    Decided that I'd try CFE223.

(Used a MagnetoSpeed chrony, so this is at the muzzle break.)

No signs of pressure, primers still rounded where the blue sealant is

I think I may make it 47.6, since my Harrell Precision powder measure will probably go to 47.6 on the next click.

    Feedback on that?

I did this shot string to test for pressure signs, so the grouping was about 1/2. (I hit the range, used an existing target, and high-tailed it.)

1/2" group at 100 yards? I think the numbers and accuracy look pretty good. Especially for a gas gun.

LC is good stuff and I think the M118LR brass is a waste for a gas gun.

    Good stuff!

Excellent then I'll keep that load and just make more of them, 800 more of them!

I found the load on the hide, so this was the test run.

When I went back in the cabinet to look for other prepped 308 brass I had it turned out I have a whole bunch of LR type LC brass. So maybe I'll load some of that up and try that my bolt gun.

NOTE: for all current purchasers of Larue OBR 7.62s... I don't think they are still using Lothar-Walther barrels... As I was reading that they were making their own barrels. So this May or may not be a sweet load for you.

Oh, and one more thing, the brass was not even slightly messed up from the extractor.

They are making their own barrels. I know they had issues with it early on and were giving "temporary barrels" to purchasers and sending others later but im not sure where they are with this.

I believe it has all been straightened out
