Custom 10.5” LaRue PredatOBR.
This gun started life as a 14.5” PredatOBR. I decided to stop waiting on different uppers or barrel lengths to be available and did the following.
- had Phoenix Custom Rifles cut the hand guard and cerakote the cut section black. It’s right around 9”, we picked the spot that would give it the cleanest look.
- Bought 12” LaRue Stealth Barrel, LaRue gas tube and gas block and tOBR barrel nut
- Had Adco cut and thread the barrel to 10.5”
The upper spent its life on my SBR lower but I just swapped it out for a new pistol lower, which has 20 rounds though it to function test.
The GAP panels do extend about 1/16 or 1/8 of an inch beyond the end of the handguard now, it never bothered me but I know how some people are about that stuff so I wanted to make sure to note it and include pics.

- LaRue sling attachment panel
- LaRue marked Troy BUIS
- LaRue Tranquillo MB
- LaRue barrel wrench
