I have purchased the above mount in a 1" version but was told that I could buy extra parts to make it a 30mm mount. Is this true and does anyome know what parts I would need to get.

yep, what he said. can upgrade to 34 or 35 later also. I think the rings are $40-60 ish.

Sounds great, will call them next week. I changed my mind on a scope for my .458 Socom and decided to go with a Trijicon TR-24
