Rifle Scopes LaRue Tactical 30mm 2 Piece QD LT-123

I am thinking about trying either the LaRue 104 30mm mount or the 2 piece 30mm 123 rings with a large scope, that will share time between my AR10 and AR15's. I like to know if anyone has had any problem with the latches on any LaRue products.

Larue products are gtg. I have used a pair of lt-123 rings for quite awhile with good results. Just make them tight and forget them.

Good to hear...I am pushing myself to take a chance on the LaRue latches over a tightly snug bolt nut!

Did you use it on an AR and if so, what height rings did you get for what scope bell size?

Mine are on a rem 700 on a long U S optics base. I set it up to move the scope forward when I use a pvs14 on a monoloc. Works pretty slick, changes poi less than 1/2 moa from front to back(the rail is STRAIGHT), and always repeats zero when returned. With a 3.5-15 nightforce the bell just clears the long forward rail.
