Has anyone used one of these on a flat top AR, in conjunction with traditional scope rings? What did you think? Is the rail section long enough? etc etc

I have a badger riser & it is ok but the rail section is not long enough and, does not project far enough foreward.

*(yes I realize there are one piece mount solutions)

It's long enough and it works great. I've used it in several different applications.

In fact, the original reason why I used it is because other 1 piece mounts didn't have room to accommodate a very large turret housing.
