8am start time, bring 60 rounds.
Please RSVP here in this thread if your coming.

I'm stepping up to run the match so Kurt, Werner and Roger can just shoot it.
I'm planning a COF that will require everyone to pack light so that you can get up and down quickly at multiple different shooting stations.
Please leave your drag bags and extra gear down in your cars, but bring just your necessary gear and shooting mats up to the line when you check in.
Signs ups at 7:30 and first shots downrange shortly after 8am.
I'm looking for 4-6 non-shooting line officers to run the 3 shooting areas and spot targets so please post up here if you can come help out running the match.
I also need 3 spotting scopes so bring those if you have them.
If it all works out, we should do 9 stages for a total of 55-60 rounds and be done by noon.

Edit, I also have a cheapo Konus spotter but it gets the job done.

I wish I could be there for it ... but 500 miles is a little far for a 60 round club match!

This will be my first Vegas match...what is the course of fire like? Max range? Positional? Movers? Timed? Mulitiple Targets? UKD? Just want to be prepared!

All of the above except for UKD, max range is just under 600 meters.

They like to very it up, sometimes the mover is out there, sometimes the barricade.

I won't be attending. I think my scope has some tracking issues.

Kurt rocked it again! Kurt, Randall, Werner, et al, thank you for keeping the tempo high, a lot got done in a half day of shooting. It was great hanging with 30 or so squared away folks from 4 states, all sharing our common love of the sport. Time for a nap, heading to AZ in 4 hours with Sin City Precision caravan. Big thanks to all of the "others" who stepped up and helped : Dave, Mark, Randall and a few others whose names I can't remember. As our match turnout grows it becomes much more difficult to keep things running smoothly. I do think the recent changes are taking us in the right direction.

Thanks to Kurt,Randall,Werner and all who helped. It was a very nice, challenging course of fire; the usual stuff with a few new wrinkles to let me find new ways of screwing up. A great bunch of guys that show up for this shoot, couldnt be nicer people to share love of shooting with. Probably best part was my son beating me like a rented mule with one of my guns, gonna get him his own gun.

+1000 to the above. That was a great match and very well run. I really liked the two separate relay setup - it kept it moving nicely. I also think the printed COF also helped. That way everyone knew what was coming up and could load mags and get ready for the upcoming COF. That saved a lot of time.

A big thanks to the above but also to the spotters who stepped up to help with the duties. It really is a great group of folks who show up to shoot and help.

The split relays worked really well. No lag time and it felt like we were always shooting. We had a lot of fun... Looking forward to the next time we can make it out to Las Vegas.

Thanks Kurt and crew, it was a well run match we had a blast shooting with everyone and meeting some new folks. Gina talked non stop all the way to Prescott about the match and how much fun we have there. Not to mention her beating me by 2 places.
