Have just purchased a new rifle for long range whitetail hunting and the final item to get is a LRF. I have an old one but it just won’t get it done, it will not range a deer over 400 yards away and would like better performance than that. I do not have a big budget for this purchase. From reading on here I think the sig kilo 2200 would be a good choice. I am a vortex fan and was wondering if anyone has any experience with the ranger 1800? It states it will range a deer at 900. Any thoughts on my two choices? Experiences? I do not have anywhere I can go look at any so relying on you guys again. Would like to stay under 500. Thanks very much in advance.

I went with the Bushnell Conx because of the options it has and the fact that it can hit far above the ranges that Bushnell quote,

The rangers problem is the sig kilo. The sig kilos problem is the new 2700b Leica. And the leicas problem is Vectronix.

Vectronixs problem is Vectronixs customer support arm...
