Here is Laser Genetics official response and fix for the cold weather problem and yes they are being serious. I'm sure it works but it made me laugh when I clicked on the link and saw the images.

In the case with green lasers, I can tell you the Laser Genetics will work at 32F temperature. Most other green laser on the market current will operate at 40F. However, our design is unique and we have continuously are improving the Laser Genetics line. We do have a very simple fix for extreme cold weather use under 32F. Made a 1/4" thick, neoprene sleeve for mine, but it didn't help much, if any. Can't see messing with hand warmers every time out calling.
