Late 80's Remington 700 .243 BDL??

Hey guys, how much would yall say that gun is worth if it is in 95% condition? Its a blued gun with wood stock. I havent seen it yet, but I am meeting the guy tomorrow... Is there anything you think I should look out for? I've checked random sites but the prices seem to be all over the place from 400 up to 750 bucks. Let me know what yall think. Thanks a lot for the help.

One thing I would check is to make sure the bolt lugs are not galled. Normal wear is ok. Hard to put a $ on it. You might check the gun blue book for an idea on the value. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the advice! and about the price... im not actually paying him I would be trading him a sig p238 if the rifle looks good... My sig is just a basic black one... and has holster wear so I figured it was a pretty good deal. I figure my gun is worth about 400 bucks.

Its best if you stay away from that transaction and give me his #. Neither of you guys need that sort of thing laying around.
