Customer supplied rifle that we fitted up with a cheek piece and some paint.

    Pretty wild!

I still think it looks better in real life. I traded for this rig a while ago, I'm damn happy to add'er to my stable.

Big thanks to the crew at LongRifles.... Only problem is, Chad talked me into another build while I was there to pick this one up!

TJ, how do you like the t5? I'm curious, being a fellow lefty.

The only issue I have with the T5 is, when I ordered my first (this is the 2nd) I could not order the T5-A in a left hand orientation, I had to order the standard (non-adjustable) T5 & have Chad work his magic. This increases lead time & probably cost as well but, as a lefty i'm sure you're used to that already; I know I am. This one wears the mini-chassis where my other is set up to run single shot.

So far, the T5 has proven to be strong but to me has always had a 2x4 feel to it, just not as nice in the hand as my McM A-5. All in all, there is nothing wrong with this stock, just my observations. It has proven to be damn comfortable while prone which is how both rifles were set up for use. Ergonomically, I'm happy with it as I have long prefered a more vertical grip position while prone.

If you have any more questions, just let me know.

Do you prefer the vertical grip for shooting of sticks or awkward positions? Im still trying to decide which manners stock to go with for my next coyote rifle. I might just stick to with more of a vertical grip.

In all honesty, this rifle (& it's near identical twin in 6.5WSM) are ~16lbs. Not something I would shoot from a stick but it should work with practice. Awkward positions are a piece of cake once you become familiar with the rifle. For me it's simple, vertical grip or bust; unless I get an incredible deal on something I will only buy vertical grip stocks.
