Hello,

Quick question i am new to long range shooting....but i have been shooting .22 bench rest for a while. I wanted more of a challenge so i am re searching long range precision shooting. I have found the proof research conviction in either .300 PRC or 7mm PRC my choice in a new rifle purchase so far. My question is, What are your thoughts on the rifle and if you were to buy a new bolt gun what direction would some on you go in? Respectfully Mark

I have shot out to 700 yards with a friends semi auto 6.5 creedmore. But i was researching bolt guns and longer ranges....So anything past 1000.

You have access to 1000yds? I only ask because 6.5 creedmoor and several other rounds will get to 1K with less recoil.

Kevin , yes i am very fortunate but i do have access to 1000 yard plus distances . It is a little drive away. But it is available
