Rifle Scopes Lawton 7000 20MOA rail with Falcon Menace 5.5-25

I'm thinking I will need Med. height Burris XTR rings for the falcon menace 5.5-25 56MM scope. Just seeing what height others are using with this scope.

If you have the scope and the rifle all you need is a measuring tape to figure out your ring height. The ring height is listed on most websites...

Just for thought though I have a lawton 7000 action with a USO sn3 3.2-17x44. I used the Burris XTR low rings and I have about 3/16" clearance between the bottom of the scope and the MTU contour barrel.

I would also say that if you do not have a good ring lapping kit, you should pick one up. I've got the wheeler lapping kit. I've found that while the burris rings are good for the money they do benifit from a little time spent lapping them.

+1 on the lapping kit! Mediums will work, but lows just may get you that nice tight fit. It depends on how tall your base is.
