Rifle Scopes Leatherwood 8x USMC Scope on Winchester M70

I have a 1953 Winchester Model 70 that I would like to mount a Leatherwood 8X USMC Sniper Scope (M8USMC). Has anyone done this and, if so, what problems did you run into (if any) and what bases did you use?

I don't see why you would have any problems doing it. Does your Winchester have a bull barrel? Give this guy a call he will be glad to set you up.
