Anyone used the leatherwood auto ranging scopes? Saw one on optics planet and thought it was a pretty cool idea. Does it work?

I have one. I really don't think that it does all it says it will. It comes with very little info, and the maker never responded when I tried to contact for more info. It also fell off my 30.06, as it is very hard to tighten down.

Dont know about the Leatherwoods but we put a Burris Eliminator on a Tikka T3 in 308 with a 20 MOA base and played hell. Pulled the base and went with a flat base and ran first round hits on 12"x24" steel at 500 yds using only the hold over dots the scope provides.
