Rifle Scopes Leatherwood M-1000

Re: Leatherwood M-1000

I zero'd my last FN SPR .308 with one out of the closet (dusty Vietnam era) and went to 300 with nice groups. It's not the latest and greatest but more capable that me. It had the no math mildot from the "era" and I had no trouble figuring out the plan.

Re: Leatherwood M-1000

I use one with my AR and have had suprisingly good results.
(Works well out to 500 yards anyway.)

PITA to calibrate the cam so it is spot on, but once its done it is a pretty nifty.

That said, I would not use one as my primary optic on a long range precision setup though.
Reason being that it is no where close to being as accurate as dialing in correction.
If you don't want to use the "CAMPUTER" you have to disengage it to be able to adjust magnification.

By the way, it is also made in China. (At least mine was.)
