I have a Redding 3BR powder measure and took the drum out and turned it around. It works the same but now the handle is on the left side. This makes it so you can hold the pan in your right hand drop the powder with your left hand. That way the pan is in your right hand and you can put it on the scale without changing hands. It is a time saver. BILL

Re: Left Hand Powder Measure

I'm right handed and I thought that was the way they were supposed to be set up.
If you are left handed you may want to set it up with the right hand throwing powder.

No with the handle on the right you have to hold the pan in the left hand then you have to switch hands to put it on a right sided scale. With the handle on the left the pan in your right hand you can just put it on the scale without changing hands. My measure came with the handle on theright.

Excellent! I had given up on my 3BR because of the right side handle and all the time wasted changing hands. I'll give it a go. Thanks.
