Leica Geovid Pro help.

So got my Leica Geovid Pro 10x32 in and have been playing with them. My problem is they keep going into scan mode and won't shut off. If I remove the battery they will range a couple of times 30seconds to a minute between ranging attempts and if I take 1 or 2 then let it sit the unit will power off after 1 minutes like it's supposed to. However if it going into scan mode it'll stay there indefinitely.

So how do you turn scan mode off? Or is it a bad unit that needs to go back?

Thanks. Hopefully he'll chime in. I've emailed Euro and I'm confident they will make it right if they are defective. But hoping it was a setting that I don't know about. The English section of the manual is only about 6 or 7 pages so it's not the most comprehensive.

I reached out to Hamilton and he feels "It sounds like he has a bad switch"

Just an update. Sounds like it was a defective unit and they are shipping out a new one.
