have 2 brothers (3 boys total)
i have used and heard every italian slur in book
9 out of 10 people under the age of 50 who are not from the tri-state area dont even know what you are talking about

NO ONE gets that pissed off when you are called Fredo...because no one uses that name...EVER
only one who takes offense are the actual Fredo's

I'm not Italian, not at all, but I have tons of Italian friends and Italians in my family, and I have and continue to use every Italian slur in the book, and Fredo ain't one of them....

In St. Louis the only actual "racial" animosity against Italians is possibly old Irish people and old Italians not liking each other. To everyone else it's a joke. We're all mutts anyway. Como is having victim envy. No one fucking cares who his ancestors were.

Como knows though. He said it. "Fredo was the weak brother." This is why it cuts him so hard. He IS the weak brother.

Uh, to me that sounds like a challenge to the very idea of red flag laws in the first place - by illustrating how their own idea could be used against them just as well as the ones they want to use it against. I didn't read the actual tweet, just your quote of it, but I get a totally different read on it than you did. You do have to remember that Trump loves sarcasm when he tweets.

If the tweet came from someone who opposes red flag laws, I would have read it just like u did. Considering the red flag laws is what he among tons of other GOP members have been pushing, I dont think that it's out of sarcasm or out of challenge to the law. He wouldnt challenge something that he is trying to inact. And this isnt some 4D chess either.

The funny thing... Fredo/Cuomo has been dealing with this forever. If he just came up with some humorous responses and some good deflections, he would have looked like a Rock Star.

He could have put on his best "Don Corleone accent and said.... "Hey, don't make me make you an offer you can't refuse... I'll call the Don on you...." He could have said... "Come on... get your picture taken with Fredo.... I've heard that forever..." He could have said "A short barefoot guy who is trying to take a ring back to Mordor?... you have me confused with someone else..."

Instead he had a psychotic episode... and instantly turned himself EXACTLY into the screaming little bitch who he doesn't want to be referred to as.

In reality, the theory of Red Flag's is good. We've all been calling for it for years. You write up a Kill list and a Rape List in High School... then probably someone should be taking a look at you and your access to weapons.

In reality, the Red Flag laws are utterly fraught with peril as they can be abused.

In theory, I agree. The rub is, if they didnt have BS laws for "minors", that shit bag wouldve been formally charged with serious threats of violence, had a criminal record, and wouldn't have been able to buy the guns. There would be no need for a red flag law.
What happens when grandma starts running stop signs and almost killing people on the road, yet still has a car and a valid driver's license? The family takes the keys to the car. Should be the same for guns. Everyone, including his family HAD TO KNOW this dude was crazy af. Take his guns and tell the police of his history. I'd bet a dollar against a donut that there is already some law on the books that would address this situation. It's the "take guns first, due process later" that scares the shit out of me. The lack of evidence that will suffice to use the red flag law. Just wait until the left is in charge someday. These red flag laws will eventually bite anyone of dissent to the federal gov
