No, but it seems inevitable with the new VX-6 line on 30mm tubes. I would be surprised if they didn't translate that line into tactical scopes.

Trijicon let 1-6x AccuPoint rumors fly before the 2011 SHOT show. It may happen for 2012, it may not. Either way, it's possible to see a scope of that power at some point. As Zanshin pointed out, it would see inevitable with the VX6 line. But you never know.

Its based on the new MkVI 1-6 errector lineup.
Its going to be cheaper due to volume, it will be released for the hunting market - as well as tactical versions.
The Army is looking for a 1.1-6 or 1.1-8x SCO (Squad Common Optic) in which everyone will have the same optic.
Volume for that optic will be 500,000+ optics for the .mil side and so Leupy knows they can make a excellent scope for cheaper due to the volume.
Leupy can built 10,000 scopes a day in their Plant -- the issue is obviously glass and other stuff drive some prices -- but the biggest issue with production is setups and volume of runs.

My guess is that we'll see these at the 2012 SHOT show, and they'll be on shelves some time after the 2013 SHOT show. Especially if they're doing a .mil distribution run first.

So then, the "Mark 8" is the 1-8 ratio set up, then a "Mark 6", presumably based off the new VX-6 30 mm line, is the 1-6 ratio set up? Maybe there is a method to Leupold's madness? Who knows? It sounds promising, but they need to get the reticles and turret selection right to make any impression on the people on these boards. And of course price. Might a reasonably priced 1-6 (and 2-12) variable 30 mm mil/mil from Leupold shut up all those people bitching about the price of a Mark 8? Probably not.

I've been hearing a lot about a 3-18x40 MK6 that looks like the CQBSS scope. I even saw a photo on another forum. It looks very, very interesting indeed. That would be a great SPR optic.

I would be very interested in a FFP 1.1-6x30mm optic with a BDC lit reticle and matching easily adjustable turrets
