Rifle Scopes Leupold 10x50 Military Binoculars w/TMR Reticle?

Re: Leupold 10x50 Military Binoculars w/TMR Reticle?

Have used them. They are nice. The reticle is small, it doesnt take up the whole view, which can be a good thing if you just want to look 'past' it and use them like regular binos. They are 10X, so if you want to use the reticle for range estimation, I recommend you have something to support them, such as a pack or fence post. These do the intended job, but if you want a spotter for all day at the range, buy a spotter.

Thanks Storm Tactical,
The reason I was asking is that I'm planning on Scoping my Kimber 300WSM with a Leupold Mk4 w/TMR reticle and was thinking that the Binoculars would be a great tool to practice Ranging Deer and Elk.
Thanks for your help, Mike.

I don't have any experience with them but I would love to have a spotting scope or binoculars with the TMR reticule for spotting corrections. They are just all way too expensive right now.

They are clear, crisp, rugged. and come with a nice zippered case. I do like how the reticle is not overwelming. I had a pair of Steiner Military 10x50 with ranging reticle, but the reticle filled up the entire field of view, and just drove me crazy. They got traded for a Colt AR upper.

I've got 4 years on the non reticle version now. They have held up great. The objective lens caps suck, but the molle case is pretty nice.

I'll second what was mentioned above about needing something to rest these on for ranging purposes. I've got the little 10x Valdada monocular with a reticle and you just shake far too much holding them to be able to keep one edge of the target on a hash mark while trying to measure the other edge.

I had them and thought ranging w them was difficult, very hard to hold them still enough to accurately range, would advise a tripod, laser RF or spotting scope.
