For those that have the new Leupold 4.5-14x50 that has the Horus H27 reticle in it, is the entire reticle visible at 14x magnification? I've used Horus reticles in other scopes and I know that most of them need to be powered down to see the entire reticle. If I have at least 13.0 mils of reticle visible below the center cross hairs I'd be happy.

Easiest way to find out would be just to look up the FOV specs. If you have 26 mils of FOV on high power (might have to convert from feet/100 yards), you'll have 13 mils of reticle holdover available.

Taylor - the entire reticle is huge at low magnifications. Having used a Horus H25 extensively at 17 power, I'm pretty sure that you'll have no problems at 14. It can get a little tight at 17 if you need a several milliradian wind hold down near the bottom of the FOV, but not at 14.

And it may be useful to recall that it's easy to dial some elevation on to give you an offset at high magnifications. Just a 5 mil offset is easy to use from the standpoint of doing the math.
