Got several leupolds I am wanting to updrade to the CDS and was wondering how the tracking and durability is on them VS the regular M1 turrets. These scopes will be used for hunting about 65% of the time but will be shot at the range and dialed on frequently. Thanks for the input!

Re: Leupold CDS Repeatability????

what are the exact concerns in terms of durabilty? pretty sure they are actually giving you 1 free CDS dial with the purchase of a VX-3 CDS model. You just need to contact them and give them the specs. Additional dials can be purchased

I fully understand how the thing works as it is basically a short target turret. I really dont care about the custom turret as it is tailored to one EXACT load and elevation/temp data. I would rather just know the numbers and use a program with the regular 1/4 MOA turret that it comes with. What I am most concerned with is does it track reliably and is it as durable as the M1s to be able to withstand alot of dialing.
