Rifle Scopes Leupold Gold Ring HD price?? Or something else?

Hi gang.
I am wondering if anyone has a source for the Leupold Gold Ring HD 12x40 spotting scope. Seems like no matter where I look for it via the "normal" sources....it is the same price.

Or....if someone can direct me to a different brand, but of similar quality,style,size,and performance. I am very impressed with the Gold Ring HD, but am open to other suggestions.

Depending on what you're expecting, the Bushnell FLP Excursion is surprisingly good. It is a variable, but you might want to gaze through one to see if it will work for you. $369 is hard to beat.

Yeah...I have looked at those online. The issue is no body carries anything in this town where I can physically go compare the scopes side by side.

So....I turn to the good folks here on the Hide.

In that case, I will pass this on. My shooting partner/spotter bought the model with the FFP mil-dot and we are both blown away at how sharp, bright and clear it is. We could easily make out a roofing nail at 600+ yds. I took it out to shoot with MontanaMarine and Broz a few weeks ago and they were both impressed as well. I believe that it is a "recommend" by Frank, as well. You might check out the threads on them:

If I'm not mistaken, there is a model without the mil-dot also should that be an issue.
