Rifle Scopes Leupold mark 4 ER/T 65490 opinions

I own this scope and wondering what others opinions are on the FFP. It is only a 4.5-14x50 power. I have read all the leupold specs ect but want to know if anyone has real life experience with it and their thoughts. Does it compare to a nightforce 3.5-15x50 NXT?

If you could give me the pro's and cons of this scope. I think I may wait to use it and get something with a little more power.

With my experience, the Nightforce is going to track better. My Leupolds never tracked properly. However, I prefer the FFP TMR on the Leupolds over any Nightforce reticle, so as long as yours tracks right, just stick with it. The clarity on my Leupolds were also better than most Nightforces I've handled. They are two different scopes with different options. You just need to decide for yourself what your needs are, your wants, and what you can afford.

You're not going to be able to tell a difference between 14x and 15x if that's your worry, and I compete with no more than 15x to 1000 yards, so you should be able to shoot accurately to some pretty long distances with no problems.

Do you mean that you already own it or that you have the SFP version and want to know if the FFP version is better?

I own the Leupold Mark 4 ER/T with FFP and also a nightforce. The leupold is 4.5-14x50 and the nightforce is an NXT 3.5-15x50. I currently do not have either one mounted to a rifle and deciding on which one to keep and which one to sell. I was leaning towards selling the Leupold because the nightforce has slight better power but wanted to hear if anyone could help persuade me one direction or the other as to which one to keep and which one to sell.

Whichever one you like best. If neither one fits your style of shooting then sell them and get something that does (they both have decent resale value).
