Rifle Scopes Leupold mark 4 "pr" series ?

What / how does the mark4 pr compare to other Leupolds?

I've found one new shipped for about 600.00. Seams like a good price unless the "pr" is a lesser series.

It's basically a VX-III target scope. It has the VX-III style turrets and paralax. Not sure they really classified this scope correctly under the Mk4 Tactical line... it's design is much more in line with their target scopes.

Oh and it only comes with duplex or mildot... and mildot will be more expensive. 1/4moa adjustments.

If bench shooting is your thing, this would do just fine. However you may want one of the true tactical scopes if tactical is your use. The target turrets are VEEEEERRYYYY tall and thin.

Kinda what I thought. Paying a bit for the mark4 name but more like a vxiii. Bet they get alot of buyers with that.

I had both the PR and the M1 Mark 4 4.5-14x40, side by side the glass is the exact same.

For $600 it's a great scope.
