The mark AR's are a nice series from leupold. You're pretty much getting a VX-II with a different turret design. True to every Leupold scope, you're getting quality glass and a tough scope. I've used them on 223 and 308 platforms and had a lot of fun. I've also had customer who mounted them on some heavier calibers and have yet to see one come back on return. 6-18 is a nice magnification range for some far paper punching or getting those prairie dogs out there. Overall nice scope for the money, nice glass, good turrets, got the AO, set with the warranty.

I had a 3-9 mark AR and didn't like it but others do. Maybe if you said what rifle it was going on people could give you some recommendations.

hmm..i wonder if this scope has lead glass. I know leupold discontinued the current vx-i and vx-ii lines this year due to them deciding to get rid of the lead glass optics. they are doing lead free glass next year for these lines im guessing which will likely bump the pricing a bit
