I found a good deal on mk4 MR/T 1.5-5 1". Compared to the 30mm MR/T with M2 turrets and illuminated reticle, would I be giving up much if I go with the 1", non-illuminated reticle and 1/4" turrets?
However, I would also be saving around $300 in the process.
The scope will be going on AR for close to medium range.
Thanks!

I have owned both and the biggest let down for the 1" scope was the coin slot adjustments,it was kinda generic for such a nice scope, the glass was super.I use the 30mm scope now and im totally satisfied with it...

If you're going to use it on an AR-15 for close to medium shots, don't worry about the 1" vs 30mm with all the bells and whistles.

There are tons of great low power variable scopes out there, but more 3-gun matches have been won over the years with a good ol' Leupold 1.5-5x 1" scope than just about any other.
