I am in the market for a Leupold 6X18 scope. Anyone know any where that this scope is being discounted?? All the net prices are the same. I am sure there is a place to pick one up. But where is that?? Should I wait for a Midway Discount code?? I noticed a sponsor here had a sale of 10% off all inventory just before X-Mas. Any one seen any good discounts lately?? I am prepared to buy today if necessary. Thanks, Tom.

Are you referring to the vari-x ii? Try google. There are plenty of 6x's Lupy's in the for sale section.

The phone is your friend. Do to MAP they are all advertised at the same price, but a phone call to a hide sponsor will almost always get you better pricing.

Actually the one I want to buy is the newer Mark AR 6X18(standard Duplex reticle), for a short range shooting 223 Encore barrel for barn yard ground hogs. I have been looking for a few weeks and have not seen one used anywhere yet. And even E-Bay has them at the full retail price. I want to pick it up now. I have a feeling this mess in Japan is going to raise the prices of optics pretty high. That and the appreciaton of the yen to record levels.
I will call around on Monday. I was just wondering if any one had any good solid dealer suggestions. Or I thought a sponsor member might have PM'd me when they read my post. Doug doesn't sell Leupold's or I would have already ordered it from him. Tom.
