Why no love for these scopes? I have the 4.5-14x50 version and love it. The tracking,glass and most of all weight are phenomenal. The reason I ask is I am looking for an additional scope with higher mag and this seems like a great deal to comparable scopes. The street price is about $899. What would be the downside of this scope be for PRS style matches?

The only disadvantage I see is the 5mil per rotation turrets. I had the 4.5-15 for an extremely short period of time. (Came to me damaged so I sent it back) and I was impressed with the glass and the turrets. I would say better choice then the gen 1 pst scopes. I can't compare to the gen 2 because I haven't checked one out yet.
I don't have a clue how well these scopes work, but I couldn't force myself to buy a scope thats elevation turret could pull double duty as a dildo.
They're not necessarily a bad thing just kind of behind the times. For example with my 6.5 creed I can go out to 1000 In the first revolution with 10 mil per rev turrets.
