Rifle Scopes leupy 1.5 to 5

got a free vx3 1.5 to 5. it was an older tube with a loose lens called leupold who fixed it for free it looks new now! my question is has anyone mounted a stoney point turret knob on the older screw style leupold turret?

think ill mount it on my dpms ap4 or ruger 99 44 mag

Havent added knobs, but that is one of my favorites. and such a deal used now, there is no excuse for cheap optics now. i have bought used vxIII 1.5-5 from $250 to $400 for the illuminated one

maybe also leupold could put the m1 knobs on for you like on the MK4?

I'm interested in this too. Was thinking of sending mine off to Leu this winter for the M1 conversion.

Stoney Points suck. I have them on my rimfire. Better than nothing, but you get what you pay for.
