Rifle Scopes Leupy CDS custom Reticles for 2 Elevations

I am ready to order 2 CDS turrets for a 3.5x10x40mm. I live in Illinois. I need the turrets calibrated for Colorado @ 6-8000 feet where I will be hunting.
One load in my 7rem mag is 168 berger. The other is 100 sierra. I have the speed determined.
What will be the needed adjustments for the difference in elevation between the 2 locations?

I shoot a 7mm @ 6000 ft, but neither the 100 or 168, so cant give you drop. I have had great field proven success with the G7 program from gunwerks.

You can select caliber, bullet velocity and rifle parameters, and then environmental in a separate section.

So all of your rifle loads in one section, and your locations in another drop down box.

Run the numbers until the drop matches Ill, then get a pressure reading online from an area close to your hunting area, and then change temp and elevation and see how the drop changes.


Also, the program allows you to print the current drop table, or a table at different temps and elevations.

Considering the turrets are a bit pricey, you can always drop the gunwerks guys an email and ask if they have some ballistic data for your load at the given elevation. Gunwerks also sells hand loaded long range ammo, so they may have the numbers you need.
