Post up those lever actions! Hopefully I didn’t miss another thread like this

Not mine but I totally dig it.

I need a 336 or 1894...
I need this...

For all you lever action junkies, can you all tell me how much it would be to get something in a similar setup?

Or something like what's in the pics below. I could care less about the accessories such as foregrip, light, sling, sight, etc.

In my mind, I've built out a 16" 30-30 that I can put my TBAC Dominus on and take a deer or two.

It depends what your starting gun is. If you grab a Marlin 336 with big loop all you’d need is to swap the Midwest Industries Handguard on and optic and you’ll be set. So search Marlin 336 models and find the one you like and go from there

They don't seem to be expensive at all. And oh boy did I just op3n a can of worms by looking this stuff up haha.

Now I have another question for you guys. I know lever actions were never designed to be precision rifles. However, I have always found that an accurate rifle is more interesting than a less accurate gun. With that said, can I expect 1.5 ish MOA accuracy? Or what model is probably going to have the better quality barrel?

Maybe go with a Uberti Sharps rifle if you want that sweet 19th century feel and precision. Think of a lever action as the 19th century Mk18.

Browning makes a box magazine fed lever rifle if you want to use more modern stuff like a .308 and still rack a lever.

I threw out this idea here a month or so ago as well. I'd post some pics of mine but can't figure out the process.
That's a fine looking .22, Henry?

My first deer rifle, a late '70's 336 .35 Rem, and few old timers that followed me home over the years.
Added another since this pic was taken, a Winchester '95 SRC in .30-06 circa 1924.

My SASS alias is Calvin N. Hobbes and my wife is Barbary Coast. Between us we have around 15 World Champion titles. We're mounted shooters now where I have 2 World Champion titles.
Yessir, recognize the alias. My wife and I only shoot (shot for me, since I came overseas) in LA, MS & FL. I really enjoy it and can't wait to get back. We're not top shooters by any stretch but we enjoy the people and the guns.

I "need" a 45 colt lever gun to match my Linebaugh 45 Colt Bisley Blackhawk. The new Henry X model with a suppressor looks like a fun one.

just finished a Marlin lever for gallery rifle comps here in the UK

But the Sharps is 'it' re target work, 77 & 74 respectively.

SASS - now that takes me back, last time I shot that was early 2000, think my SASS number was 15000 ish, shot with Tequila (real nice guy) with the THSS - much fun.

Modern stuff is nice but has no soul whatsoever.

What suppressor is that, please? That’s an awesome lever gun! 👍🏼
Thank you sir. As for the can, it’s a Crux Juggernaut with a Area 419 adapter. Unfortunately Crux is out of business but, you can still find them here and there.

Yes! So glad this thread got started. Thanks!

This is my Winchester 1894 Sporting Rifle, mfg. in 1908. It is a .30 WCF caliber. The octagon barrel looks like it was blued incorrectly in trying to get a falke plum patina for it. Receiver in great condition, but it had two additional holes for mounting a scope. Wood stock had some nicks. I took it out to shoot and it is just fine. I have since sanded the stock and they are now stained black. I found a couple of screws for the mounting holes in the receiver. I still want to get a larger lever, but the standard John Wayne/Rifleman levers are too big. Might have to get a custom one. I also want to change the semi-buckhorn rear sight to a square notch.

This is my Henry .30-.30 color case hardened with octagon barrel rifle. Just yesterday, I got an email from Henry that said they are coming out with side loaders. Two years ago, I wrote to the President of Henry if they were ever going to make side loaders. He was very adamant at the time that Henry would never make side loaders. Never say never. As one can plainly see, I opted for a large lever which allows my gloved hand to fit in the loop. Alas, Henry levers and Winchester levers are made differently. My son, on leave from the Army tried out the Henry and I think he loved it because he just purchased a .357 cal. Henry. My future includes a .22 Mag. Henry.

I have a SGC in 22 mag and a Evil Roy in 22 lr. I love both of them but I recently bought my first suppressor and kind of wished I had bought the already threaded version. My smith will thread it and move the front sight but it's not cheap.

Re-barreled in .17 Hm2.

I very much get the affinity to ARs and the new calibers, but I think the effectiveness and flexibility of the lever action 30/30 and other calibers gets overlooked. Just a great functional design to this day.
