Was nickle plated for someone's shadow box. Correct scabbard that's missing the barbs, which is common.

Wow, thank you, Sir. That’s awesome! I’ve been obsessed with these bad SOB’s from the first time I saw one years ago. It turned out to be a reproduction, but I still love it. I never thought I might actually own a real one. Anywho, It may take me a couple days to beef up my knife fund, but I’ll sell a blade or two if need be. I will be in touch!
