Michael,

You are exactly correct. My email can not receive messages, but I can send them. Not a good thing at all. My server admin upgraded to a newer version of Plesk (like 9.1 or something) last night and my gift is that my email quit working. Not cool. We are working on the problem. Glad we could help you out.

Email had to be completely torn down and rebuilt, so to speak.
