I finally got a chance to shoot the new Nighthawk Talon and I really like the feel of the trigger. First mag with inexpensive range 230 gn fmj is pictured here (hopefully I got the attachment process done correctly)
2" dot at 18yrds with the first few rounds getting used to the sights.
Two questions:
1. what sort of groups at that distance would you expect an average shooter to be getting?
2. After this first mag I switched to 185 grn Asym and the groups grew to about 4" at 20+ yds (plus getting that first round did like to load using either of the mags supplied). When I switched back to the 230 grn cheap ammo the groups tightened up. Seems like its me however I am looking for thoughts. Next time I can get to the range I will see what I can get the Talon to do.
