LIFESTRAW - water filtration system

Hey guys,
I just got my Lifestraws in late this last week. Ordered them from http://www.greenbeetlegear.com/

Man these are awesome and if you have a "GO BAG", you NEED one of these.
The guys over there are really good to deal with.

I think they are going to start advertising here, but you should check out the Lifestraw.

This is a different model than the previous one w iodine etc. And is good for approx 1000 liters

Its a great idea for someone with limited space or packing light but I prefer my Katadyn Hiker water filter its also light and compact but has better filtration in my opinion.

It may have better filtration, but for a go bag on a budget, this is great.

I'm not convinced that water filtration is the area to scrimp, but I got several so that I can put one in all of the kit bags I might use, and in the vehicles.
