I'm a relatively new rifle shooter and have a Remington Target Tactical Rifle. I'm looking for a lighter rifle so that I can shoot from different positions more easily. My maximum shooting range is probably going to be 300 yards. My dilemma is, am I better off selling it and getting another rifle that is lighter or do I buy another stock. Keep in mind that I won this rifle in a raffle, so the only money I have in it is the ammo I've put down range.
