I am seeing a small up swing in lighter weight 308 match bullets. Custom copper bullets by cutting edge bullets and other with a lower grain weight but higher BC. Plugging some of these into the old ballistic software starts to look pretty good, especially with MV into the 3200's. Supersonic well past 1200 and minimal drop for a bullet that size. I know they are expensive but it's looking to me like they are making a run on the smaller calibers for speed. G1-Bc's in the .5-nearly .6 range is pretty damn impressive considering. I'm starting to do the math on these and take a lot closer look than I ever have. Anyone else noticing this trend?
