When I saw leupold is making the new redfields I looked into it and saw on the advertisement that thread on accessories were compatible with leupolds.
So I called the leupold custom shop today to see if the redfield could be sent to them to add target turrrets and I was told the aim was to make them as inexpensive as possible which leaves them unable to be upgraded. Only the bell threads are compatible.
Not that this takes anything away from what the redfields are intended to be! I heard that they have great clarity and just thought it would possibly make a nice cheap rimfire multi purpose scope.
Oh well, not that many would care just thought I'd share.
