Limiting screws on Arca rails?

Dumb question but what do y’all use these for?

to keep the rifle from sliding off the ball head or leveling based as its being adjusted or under recoil

Put them on the very end of the plate, muzzle end. They are referred to as “safety stops” in the user manual.
